Please note: This will get you temporary access to course materials for the duration of the add/drop period, not actually enroll you in the course. To actually enroll you must add the course to your schedule via the On Line Registrar (http://web.haas.berkeley.edu/Registrar).
i. Click on the Study.Net link from the left-hand bar on Catalyst.
ii. Once you are on the Study.Net website, you should see the course for which you have been given temporary access, listed under “My Courses”.
iii. Haas pays the cost of electronic access to online readers only for those officially enrolled in a course. Since you are not yet officially enrolled, you will need to enter your credit card information and pay for electronic access.
iv. If you get in to the course by the end of the add/drop period, you will be refunded the entire cost of the reader. If not, you will receive a partial refund (see item #5, below).
v. Haas does not pay for hard-copy readers (Textpaks) for MBA students. Since your enrollment is not guaranteed, and none of the cost of the Textpak is refundable, we advise against ordering a Textpak until such time as you are officially enrolled in the course.
5. After the Add/Drop period ends, your enrollments will be finalized.
a. If you were able to officially enroll in the course, your temporary access to the course’s Catalyst home page will become permanent. Moreover, if you paid for electronic access to the course reader, Study.Net will refund you 100% of what you paid.
b. If you were not able to officially enroll in the course by the end of the add/drop period, your temporary access will be terminated. If you paid for electronic access to the reader, Study.net will refund you 80% of what you paid. (The three week add/drop period represents 20% of the 15-week semester.)
